Season 1 ARENA UPDATE | PVP ALWAYS ON

Yo yo yo its ur favv white boy writing again as we have a huge update this time around. Major tune backs on the custom enchants used in combat and core balance changes made to gameplay in order to keep things fair but unique.

New Gamemode: Block Fights

Block Fight is a brand new gamemode added to the server, place diamonds on the line and attempt to be the first player to 5 wins!

Players start out with unlimited wooden blocks, a diamond sword and an iron axe. Placed in a small arena and are forced to fight with only these tools. Utilise building to block off and surprise your opponent or just run in like a blind chicken and attempt to brute force your opponent down.

After each round if you are the loser, select a randomly generated enchant and head back into the fight with the arena remaining the same as the previous rounds played.

Its a new stylish Gamemode which combines the old mechanics of Minecraft PVP with some of the new, creating for a unique experience every time. Personally Me and fellow developer Kai find the Gamemode incredibly unique and engaging and we hope you will too!

Only two players can play at a time, otherwise you will be placed in que. While qued you will be placed with anyone betting. if you bet a high amount of diamonds you can still be matched with those betting lower to avoid long que times.

THE MODE IS TEMPORARY! But if people enjoy the gamemode we will happily update and support it further!

Enchantments Changed… Once again!

Yes thats right we are once again changing these busted enchants to feel more vanilla, tuning back the strength of them and providing much needed rebalance to all combat based enchants to avoid oneshotting people with explosive crossbows or becoming unkillable with protection 50 dragonheart 50 chestplates.

-Blast Mining explosion power and chance reduced.
-Cold Steel chance of triggering and slowness duration reduced
-Confusing Arrows chance of triggering and duration reduced
+Decapitator can now rarely take player heads (Was bugged not to)
-Double Strike chance to trigger reduced
-Dragon Heart reduced effect
-Dragonfire Arrows have a much smaller radius than before
-Exaust now provides a shorter duration of hunger
-Explosive arrows blast damage reduced significantly, explosive arrows now chance based.
-Fire Shield Chance to trigger reduced significantly
-Ice Aspect chance to trigger reduced and duration reduced
-Ice Shield chance to trigger reduced and duration of effects reduced
-Infernus no longer damages mobs inside of claims, Infernus fire duration reduced.
-Paralyze chance to trigger and duration reduced
+Poisoned Arrows chance to trigger now 100%, poisoned arrows duration reduced.
+Regrowth health regeneration increased
?Smelther sound volume reduced significantly
+Stopping force now triggers 100% of the time, reduces knockback by 20%
?Thunder Reworked, now only triggers during thunderstorms, thunder triggers 100% of the time during thunderstorms, trippled thunders damage.
+Vampire now triggers 100% of the time but restores less health.
+Vampiric Arrows, now triggers 100% of the time but restores less health.
-Wither, now triggers 100% of the time with increased effect power but reduced duration
-Withered Arrows, triggers very rarely but does higher wither power for a longer duration.


Custom Crafting

We have a new system to allow us to add custom crafting recipes to the game, we have added a couple to start but plan to add more QOL ones in the future.

You can now smelt rotten flesh into leather
You can craft 2 “Notch Apples” by surrounding a netherstar in a layer of golden blocks twice.
You can now smelt wheat seeds into glass.



General Changes

Protection in claims removed

Changes made to networking to increase stability for regions outside of the EU

Mace Damage cap added, maces can now do 38 Damage max during freefall (Was Unlimited like wtf…)

Diamond Casino Key chances made much more fair to incentivise their use.
Increased the odds of winning on all Diamond Slots significantly.

Reduced the cost of the iron crate
Reduced the cost of the emerald crate
Reduced the cost of the gold crate

Enchanted Key store prices reduced from 2.99 to 1.99

Enchanted Rank Changes

--------------

/enchanttable now warps you to the spawn enchant table, doing it again returns you to your original position acting as a sort of /spawn mini. During the duration of S1 this will not have a cooldown but after the season this will be given the same duration cooldown as /spawn.
